Besides the standard spherical roller bearing designs, BUT has developed new solutions according to specific application requirements. The special designs include: closed spherical roller bearings, for smooth operation in contaminated environments; ROVSX type, expressly designed for vibratory equipment; WOR execution, suitable for gear output shaft of truck concrete mixers; and split bearings to make maintenance operations easier at hard-to-reach positions. If duly applied, these special designs are cost effective for the customer, since they allow increased bearing life expectancy and reduced machine downtime.
